Credit Card Fraud
Credit card fraud is a wide ranging term for theft and fraud committed using a credit card as a fraudulent source of funds in the transaction. The cost of credit card fraud reaches into the billions of dollars annually and in Canada alone it results in an estimated $280 million per year.
Concord Security has partnered with RBC to provide out clients with merchant education seminars on the topic of Credit Card Fraud. The seminars are presented by a representative from RBC Corporate Security and instruct tenants on how to identify counterfeit cards and how to spot irregular purchasing activities and prevent credit card fraud.
