Tripwire Rapid Apprehension System

The Tripwire is an anti-graffiti device that incorporates a motion sensor, a digital camera, and a communication device in a compact, protective casing. The unit is designed to be placed covertly in an trouble spot. The unit senses motion, takes a specified number of pictures, and sends them instantly and wirelessly to a Blackberry or email address.

The Tripwire can be deployed almost anywhere and has a long life battery pack and solar panel for extended period deployment as required.

Concord Security purchased one of these units and it is available for rent on a week to week basis.

We deployed the unit at a Shopping Centre in an area being plagued by frequent tagging on May 20, 2008. On May 23, 2008 the Tripwire caught the vandalism in process and staff were able to respond and retrieve a make, model, and license plate from the offender's vehicle.
